A red, white and blue spiral tie-dye tee, pressed by our family. The front carries a purple epilepsy-awareness ribbon and 2010, the year Matthew was diagnosed. The back carries Matthew's smile and the words we'll always say about him.

Seizure first aid
Know what to do
Stay
Stay with the person and time the seizure. Stay calm.
Safe
Move hard or sharp things away. Never put anything in their mouth.
Side
If they aren't awake, turn them gently onto their side. Call 911 if a seizure lasts longer than 5 minutes.
